Local Barber Alumni Gives Back

[Tulsa, Oklahoma] – Junior Cisneros, one of the first Barber program graduates, will return on Monday, April 23rd from 8:30 am to 10:00 am to share some of his valuable knowledge with students.

Barber Department Head, Paula Matthews, said, “I love when our Alumni come back and speak to our students. It is so inspiring for them to see what they can accomplish if they are willing to put in the work and effort.” Cisneros will be speaking to students about consultation techniques and how to improve as a barber and demonstrating haircutting techniques. “It is important to give back, and I’d like to share anything that can potentially benefit any graduating students from the Barber program. I feel that what is good for one barber is good for all barbers,” shared Junior.

Cisneros has been able to take part in the foundation of many successful barbershops in Tulsa. He helped design the training systems and videos for Elephant in the Room, as well as designing their haircutting training. He has appeared on Fox 23’s Good Morning Green Country and News on 6. In 2017, Cisneros opened his very own barbershop called Humble Barber Co.
