Everyone tells you, “make sure to wear sunscreen!” Do you listen? I have to be honest, I don’t always remember to put on sunscreen when I know I’m going to be outside for awhile, but that’s about to change.
I went to a softball game last weekend and forgot to grab my sunscreen. I just wasn’t thinking about it because I wasn’t heading to the pool. As you might have expected I got a little pink. It got me thinking, why is sunscreen so important, other than sunburns are terrible and, you know, skin cancer!
- Protecting your skin from the sun helps prevent age spots and skin discoloration.
- Sunscreen helps reduce the appearance of facial red veins and blotchiness.
- It slows down aging and wrinkles!
- Did I mention skin cancer?
If these aren’t enough reason to remember your SPF, I don’t know what is!
